Tarun aka Tarun Chandra is a Kannada actor. He has acted in several films, most notably, the 2007 film Geleya with Prajwal Devraj.

Early Life
Tarun has a degree in Commerce from MES College Bangalore. He is formally trained in acting from the Kishore Namit Kapoor film school in Mumbai. He's also a trained dancer.
Career
Tarun debuted with the 2007 film Geleya. He was paired with newcomer Keerat Bhattal, was friend and later foe to his co-star Prajwal Devraj. Tarun's acting was appreciated, but the film itself drew flak for the reason that the two protagonists were too young to play hardened gangsters. Tarun did not go unnoticed, in 2007 he also appeared as grand son to Dr Vishnuvardhan in the film Ee Bandhana.
Tarun's next role was the film Hani Hani with Pooja Gandhi in the lead. The film opened early 2008, and was a disaster at the box office. Tarun will next be seen in a plum project, Parichaya with the Hudugaata director, Sanjay K. He also has the weirdly named Cna and Love Guru with Radhika Pandit, both expected to release in 2009.
