Plot
The film is about Rajeev (Krishna) who comes from a well to do family and is a bright student in the arts class as a painter. He is very attached to his family consisting of mother, brother who is a lecturer in College, sister-in-law and they dote on him. Meanwhile Rajeev falls madly in love with the beautiful Namana (Sonu) who happens to be the sister of his close friend. He gets to know about the affair and gets very disturbed which makes the love birds part ways. Now, Rajeev instead of moving on in life hits the bar and starts drinking. His addiction gets so intense that he spends days and nights at the bar gulping down gallons of liquor and gets sloshed on the streets umpteen number of times. Enraged by all this, his brother beats the bulbs out of him and decides to get him married so that this can be resolved. Rajeev gets married to Parimala (Bhavana) and does nothing but have alcohol on the first night. Gradually, they are blessed with a baby girl but this does not stop him from his drinking, instead he turns more desperate that he flick the ring from his baby and sells it at the bar counter for few pegs. Suddenly, Parimala dies due to electric shock and their kid who turns out to be a good singer announces on the stage that her father drinks juice everyday which enlightens Rajeev of his folly. What happens next forms the rest of the story. 1
