Digant is a Kannada actor. Though he made two films where he was a full fledged hero, he was noticed when he appeared in a cameo in the blockbuster Mungaaru Male. Yograj Bhat re-cast him in the film Gaalipata which further boost his career.

Early Life
Digant Manchale was born in Theerthahalli. He was a model before he joined the film industry as actor. He's also studying for his Masters in Human Resource Management.
Career
Digant stepped into the film industry with the 2006 Kodlu Ramakrishna film Miss California as lead. He was paired opposite producer and heroine Jaanu for the film. The movie went unnoticed, but Digant was chosen to act in Sundeep Malani's Kanglish film SMS 6260. He was the lead here as well, along with Jaanu and eight other youngsters. This film too was badly received. At around the same time, he was also offered a cameo in Mungaaru Male, which he initially was wary of. But he did it anyway, and like everyone associated with the film, he attained instant stardom.
Digant was chosen (based on his cameo in Mungaaru Male) for TN Seetaram's offbeat film Meera Madhava Raghava as Madhava. He played Ramya's selfish husband in the film. The film was critically praised, but did not do well commercially. Digant's next project was with Yograj Bhat again. This time he played one of the three lead characters, the lovable and dumb Digi. Digant held his own, even against actors like Ganesh and Anant Nag. The film was a success, and Digant's comic timing made way for his next project - the multi starrer comedy Mast Maja Madi. Digant's solo projects continued to fail - Kodlu Ramakrishna's children's film Chili Pili Hakkigalu was the latest addition to the list.
Digant keeps bagging offers, Bisile with Jennifer Kotwal, Hemant Hegde's House Full, Sihi Kanasu with Sonu are some of the major solo hero projects he will be seen in 2009.
